Hi. My name is David Schwartz, and I’m a student who normally is studying at Tufts University double majoring in international relations and English and minoring in Arabic. But between January and May 2012, I’m doing my obligatory second semester of junior year globetrotting.
First, I’m touring through Israel via Birthright from January 2 to January 12, and after that I’ll be studying in Rabat, Morocco at Mohammed V University in Agdal in partnership with my abroad program, AMIDEAST and staying in a homestay. In Morocco, I am studying North African and Middle Eastern politics and culture as well as furthering my studies in Modern Standard Arabic and the colloquial Arabic in Morocco, Darija.
