David Lerner Schwartz teaches in the MFA program at the University of Central Florida. His work has been published in Ecotone, Witness, New Ohio Review, The Florida Review, Los Angeles Review, Literary Hub, New York magazine, The Rumpus, SmokeLong Quarterly, and more. The recipient of the New Letters Robert Day Award for Fiction, David has been a finalist for the Jeanne Leiby Memorial Chapbook Award and The Masters Review Chapbook Open. His writing has been supported by grants and fellowships from Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and St. Albans School, where he served as the writer in residence. David holds a PhD from the University of Cincinnati and an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars.
